Sergey Shargunov: Pridnestrovie first point of gathering Russian spirit

Many nationalities live in Pridnestrovie, but this is the very verifiable Russian world

This opinion was expressed in an interview to Pridnestrovie's First Channel by Sergey Shargunov, a Russian writer, publicist and editor-in-chief of the Svobodnaya Pressa internet portal.

According to him, close ties between Russia and Pridnestrovie are very important. "There must be no blockades for normal development and investments. Consequently, the life will take on other dynamics. I am sure the union of Russia and Pridnestrovie will take on quite other forms," underscored Sergey Shargunov.

The author remarked that Pridnestrovie had long established itself as a state, and the day when it would be internationally recognised was not far off. "You will be recognised. The question is when.  Years might pass, but the latest dramatic events in Ukraine has already made this possibility closer. Russia will never leave Pridnestrovie in the lurch and repulse any aggression," underscored Sergey Shargunov.
