Tiraspol, October 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The WTF Pro Fighter Cup international taekwondo tournament was held in Chisinau. According to the State Sports Service, over 500 participants from Ukraine, Pridnestrovie, Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova participated in the competitions.
The Pridnestrovian team was represented by trainees of the WTF Taekwondo Union of Pridnestrovie composed of twenty-six people. Our athletes won 19 medals: 6 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze ones.
The winners of the tournament in their weight categories are: Valery Postika (18 kg), Artem Kalinich (22 kg), Elizaveta Koval and Alexander Reva (24 kg), Maxim Kaush (30 kg) and Julia Kovalskaya (33 kg). Athletes from Tiraspol were trained to this tournament by coaches Yuri Lesovoy, Vyacheslav Balan and Natalia Balyuk.
