Tiraspol, December, 25. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The delegations headed by the leaders of the two countries are currently on the territory of the Alexander Nevsky Park of the Bendery Fortress. According to the press service of PMR President, Moldovan guests were told about the construction of the park opened in October. The park zone in Bendery Fortress is a place at the intersection of centuries-old history, Orthodox culture and secular traditions. Vadim Krasnoselski noted that the improvement and creation of conditions for the leisure of people is important for improving the living standards of Pridnestrovians and attracting tourists. According to the President of the PMR, similar cultural centers will appear in the near future in all cities and regions of the republic.
During the visit to the park, the meeting participants visited the chapel, opened on the day of centenary of Romanov family execution, as well as the church of Alexander Nevsky, restored in the period of modern history of Pridnestrovie. The meeting participants visited the exhibition hall: the guests studied the permanent exhibition "Soldier-Liberator" Gallery”. This is a kind of timeline, assembled from figures of full-length Russian warriors who defended peace on the Dniester at different times. The interlocutors touched upon the topic of modern peacemaking, having exchanged views on the current situation around the peacekeeping operation under the auspices of Russia.
At the end of the excursion, the meeting participants went to Bendery state administration for the official part of the event.
