Tiraspol, December, 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, the head of state held a press conference on the results of 2018, at which he presented the development strategy of Pridnestrovie for 2019-2026. For half a year, all branches of power have been working on the document: the President, the Government, the Supreme Council, as well as the public.
The strategy has several blocks in which the main priorities are designated, including national security, the dynamic development of the economy, regional development and Pridnestrovie position strengthening in the world community.
In an interview with the Novosti Pridnestrovya information agency, the chairman of the supreme executive authority, Alexander Martynov, noted that the document affects all areas of the state’s activities, and this is what makes it valuable.
“A lot of directions, which are stated in the document, were implemented both this year and last year. But now there is a comprehensive understanding of how to move forward, and we will work within the framework of this document” - Alexander Martynov said.
The prime minister said that at the beginning of next year, a plan for implementing Pridnestrovian development strategy for the medium term would be presented at the Government’s site, and then the ministries and departments would begin work.
Among the areas that will be given special attention to, there is ecology area. The 2019th in Pridnestrovie has been declared the Year of Ecology and Improvement. But, according to Alexander Martynov, this does not mean that the executive body of the government will cease to solve problems that have been raised within the framework of the Year of Equal Opportunities.
“We will act in a comprehensive manner, and every year will be an equal opportunities year, a year of ecology, and a year of infrastructure development. There are a lot of accumulated problems in Pridnestrovie, and we will solve them simultaneously in all directions, distributing the financial resources of the state rationally” - the Chairman of the Government emphasized.
