Tiraspol, 2 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russia's MFA, ministry of education and science, Rossotrudnichestvo have announced the selection of school leavers who want to enter Russian universities in the 2017−2018 academic year on a budgetary basis This applies to foreign citizens, stateless persons and Russian compatriots living abroad.
The campaign is carried out in compliance with the procedure for the selection of foreign citizens within the quotas established by the Russian government.
As the website of Pridnestrovie's Ministry of Education reports, the selection of school leavers to Russian universities takes place in two stages.
The first stage includes the selection of school leavers in a foreign state, in this case in Pridnestrovie, who want to study in Russia. Information on these potential students is gathered through the official website — http://russia.study/. The compulsory condition at the first stage is a school leaver's participation in selection procedures. The Ministry of Education of the PMR, Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Moldova will act a single selection operator.
At the second stage, the Russian universities that are ready to accept foreign citizens selected during the first stage of the competition join the process.
To participate in the competition, a school leaver must study a number of documents. The list of these documents and contact information are available on the website of the Ministry of Education of the PMR.
