Tiraspol, 8 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Current issues relating to the organisation of elections to Russia's State Duma of the Federal Council for the Russian citizens residing in Pridnestrovie were discussed yesterday in the capital's House of Officers.
The working meeting was attended by Russian ambassador to Moldova Farit Mukhametshin, Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission of the PMR Yelena Gorodetskaya, head of the OGRF in Pridnestrovie Dmitry Zelenkov, Chairwoman of the Union of Russian Communities Viorika Kokhtareva and representatives of district election commissions, the press service of the CEC reports.
Farit Mukhametshin and representatives of the Russian embassy to Moldova informed the attendees about the documents necessary to receive a ballot (Russia's foreign passport, national passport, military card, service or diplomatic passport, repatriation certificate) and shed light on other arrangements for the voting. The participants answered the questions of district commission members.
Farit Mukhametshin and Counsellor of Embassy Yevgeny Guzeev noted the high level of preparations carried out by the Central Election Commission in the run-up to the elections on 18 September and thanked all state authority bodies of Pridnestrovie for their assistance.
