Pridnestrovie's JCC co-chair, Oleg Belyakov, told the president that the situation is still under control of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces, the president's press office reports.
«The peacekeeping contingent is operating in a regular mode: all functions and duties are fulfilled in full volume," said Oleg Belyakov.
He also briefed Yevgeny Shevchuk on current activities of the Joint Control Commission.
Yevgeny Shevchuk conveyed the gratitude to the peacekeeping contingent for active participation in terms of sustaining peace on the Dniester.
