As our news agency has already reported, today Bendery hosted the rally dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the peacekeeping operation in the zone of the Pridnestrovian conflict.
In an interview to Pridnestrovie's media, the deputy foreign minister, Vasiliy Ingnatyev, pointed out that the Pridnestrovian diplomacy makes every effort to create necessary conditions for the peacemakers to fulfil their tasks.
«One of main tasks of our diplomacy is to provide conditions for conducting the peacekeeping operation, since it is this operation that created the conditions for the peaceful political settlement and dialogue. It has its own format. It has its complex legal framework within the Joint Control Commission, which is why the diplomats' task is to ensure normal functioning of the peacekeeping operation," Vitaliy Ignatyev noted in this respect.
