The Pridnestrovie’s President met with His Holiness Kirill Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia

The meeting took place in Moscow in the Patriarchal and Synodic residence in the Danilov monastery

During the conversation, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill remembered his visit to Pridnestrovie in September, 2013. “I remember my stay on the hospitable Pridnestrovie’s soil with warmth, I remember church services, the communication with wonderful people, with you personally, with your colleagues, with Нis Grace Savva,” the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church noted. “I don't forget the meeting with residents of Tiraspol. All this not simply left an imprint on my memory, but became the warm page in my biography. So, I would like to wish the God's help to the Pridnestrovie’s land, to its people and to you of course.”

The Pridnestrovie’s President Evgeny Shevchuk expressed his appreciation to His Holiness Kirill Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia for this meeting. “Our citizens remember this visit and cherishing appeal in Tiraspol to all Pridnestrovians warmly,” the President told. Evgeny Shevchuk thanked His Holiness Patriarch Kirill for his attention which to the Tiraspol and Dubossary eparchy.

The Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva and the Pridnestrovie’s President’s special representative for the Russia’s public authorities interaction Oleg Segal also participated in the meeting.
