Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank issues commemorative coin "A. I. Lebed (1950-2002)"

This is another coin in the series "Russia in Pridnestrovie's history"

On 5 November Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank (PRB) issued a silver commemorative coin "A. I. Lebed (1950-2002)" with a face value of 5 roubles, supplementing the series "Russia in Pridnestrovie's history".

The mintage is 1000 pieces. The commemorative coin is a currency unit of Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank, legal tender in the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and is accepted at its nominal value.

Every coin has an identification certificate, is packed in a transparent capsule and placed in a special case, the PRB press service reports.

Description:

Obverse: at the centre - image of the national emblem of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic; circle wise - legend: at the top - "ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК" (Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank), at the foot - 5 РУБЛЕЙ (5 roubles); under the national emblem - year of issue "2014"; below - manufacturer's logo, state standard mark, designation of metal, standard of alloy, mass.

Reverse: at the centre - portrait of Alexander Ivanovich Lebed; to the left - depiction of the memorial complex in Bendery; below - years of life "1950-2002 г.г."; at the top - legend: "ГЕНЕРАЛ-ЛЕЙТЕНАНТ ЛЕБЕДЬ А.И." (Lieutenant General Lebed A. I.)
