The total indicator of industrial production of the PMR at the end of the year may exceed the baseline by 3.5%

The Prime Minister stressed that this requires a stable gas supply and demand in foreign markets

Tiraspol, July 5. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The day before, Prime Minister Alexander Rosenberg answered questions from Pridnestrovian and Russian media journalists. Special attention was paid to the economic situation in the republic and the factors influencing it.

As the Prime Minister noted, the work of the largest industrial enterprises - in particular, the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant and the Moldavian State District Power Plant - is significantly affected by stable gas supply and demand in foreign markets.

“If stability is maintained in these areas until the end of 2023, it is expected that the volume of industrial production of ZAO Moldavskaya GRES (Moldavskaya GRES, CJSC) and OAO Moldova Steel Works (Moldova Steel Works, JSC) will exceed last year's parameters. Especially taking into account the low base in the second half of 2022.” - the press service of the Government reports.

As a result, the total indicator of industrial production of the republic in 2023 may exceed the baseline by 3.5%.
