Tiraspol, February 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovia/. Today, the OSCE Mission office in Tiraspol hosted the meeting of specialists from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova to discuss issues of plant quarantine, plant protection and veterinary medicine. The parties paid close attention to the import parameters of a wide range of special freight during the meeting
Particularly, experts held a substantive exchange of views and pushed closer to the import agreement on plant varieties and hybrids into the PMR. Meanwhile, mutual understanding could not be reached on the import of veterinary medicines and plant protection products. It is assumed that work in these areas is to continue in the coming months.
The parties also reaffirmed their readiness to cooperate on preventing the spread of infectious animal diseases as provided for in the Protocol Decision of February 15, 2018.
