Tiraspol, December 25./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In March 2020, parliamentary hearings on Pridnestrovie will be held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the Speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament, Alexander Korshunov at a press conference dedicated to the results of the Supreme Council activity for 2019.
“The same arrangement exists with Moscow City Duma. There will also be an exhibition on Pridnestrovie within the framework of the hearings. We believe that it is very important to inform our colleagues, guests and specialists about Pridnestrovie development and is potential,” Alexander Korshunov said.
He noted that in the passing year the parliamentarians of the PMR had taken part in various economic forums in the Russian Federation, had held numerous meetings with Russian colleagues. Among other issues raised in the inter-parliamentary discussions, there were the simplification of Russian citizenship obtaining procedure and the use of maternal capital in Pridnestrovie.
“All these meetings are aimed at increasing the interaction between the legislative bodies of the PMR and the Russian Federation, solving important issues about Russian citizenship obtaining and, using maternal capital in PMR. Some of the issues are at the finish line, but it is not so easy to take these decisions,” the Speaker of the Parliament said.
He expressed hope that thanks to the interaction between the legislative bodies of the PMR and the Russian Federation, a solution to these issues would be found.
