Tiraspol, December 20./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian Republican Bank has issued commemorative banknotes denominated 1 ruble «25 years of Pridnestrovian ruble». According to the PRB website, the note has a vertical ornamental and artistic design. The size and basic protective features are similar to the inherent in the 2007 ruble note model.
Circulation of the commemorative banknotes is 200,000 pieces. 2.5 thousand of them are packaged in booklets.
Commemorative banknotes «25 Years of Pridnestrovian Ruble» are a legal means of circulation and payment in the territory of the PMR, are mandatory for acceptance at a nominal value in all types of payments by all organizations regardless of the form of ownership and sphere of activity.
