The Operational Headquarters Information

Current reports were heard in the course of the Operational Headquarters meeting on Energy. Minister of Internal Affairs Vitality Neagu reported that the single hotline created for the period of the emergency is still in demand. 165 calls were received over the past 24 hours, and 15773 over the month of its operation. They are about electricity supply most often: 9743 calls. According to the Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, 3109 accidents on the power grids were eliminated during the reporting period. There are fewer of them at present. If since the beginning of the energy crisis, which led to an increase in the load on the grid, teams responded to 150-200 calls per day, then the number of requests has decreased to 60 in recent days. One of the factors that influenced the decrease in accident rates is warm weather: citizens use less electricity to heat their premises.

The ministers of the social block and the heads of state administrations made reports on the state of affairs. It was noted that all the wards of the 13 social institutions of the republic with round-the-clock stay are provided with energy resources thanks to the acquired boiler houses and generators. The healthcare sector is fully functioning. 1794 patients are undergoing inpatient treatment. 130-150 people are hospitalized every day, in half of the cases the need is associated with surgical intervention. Kristina Albul noted that parents have begun to give preference to inpatient treatment of children more often. The explanation is simple: medical institutions, unlike residential premises, are provided with heat. At the same time, childhood morbidity has been reduced due to the disunity of school and preschool groups in general. About 1600 people used the services of outpatient medicine in a week. They said at the meeting that social institutions are gradually switching to diesel generators. This is a necessity due to the fact that the gas supply saved by suspending the activities of energy-intensive industrial enterprises at the end of December and thus reserved is running out. It will last until the first days of February at most. Pridnestrovie is counting on a positive decision by the relevant Moldovan commission, which is currently considering the issue of allocating 3 million cubic meters of gas on loan. Tiraspoltransgaz undertakes to pay or return this volume. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized at the same time that this decision could have been made by the Moldovan side a week ago.
