The President honored the memory of the victims of the Cossack repressions

The 24th of January was designated as the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions of the Cossacks in the Pridnestrovian calendar of memorable dates a year ago. This was the initiative of the PMR President. The date is associated with the events of 1919, when the Directive on Decossackization was signed – a document that legalized terror against the Cossacks.

Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in a mourning and memorial event organized on the territory of the Tiraspol Memorial to the Victims of Political Repressions today. A litiya for the victims was served in the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church.
