The Capital Investment Fund Project 2024: the first stage of discussion

The President held a video conference on the formation of capital investment program for 2024. The list of participants is extended. The heads of legislative and executive authorities, ministries, departments, civil services, as well as heads of state administrations were invited to the discussion. Each voiced a departmental application for participation in the capital investment fund 2024. The total sum is 436 million rubles. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the conceptual requirement: the annual funding of the program should not exceed 2% of the country's GDP. That is, the total maximum for the coming year is 360 million rubles. At the same time, a reserve "for the maneuver" is needed in the implementation of the program for the repair and construction of social infrastructure in case of unplanned situations. Therefore, the task was set to revise the request, based on amounts that are 10% less than last year. Some of the objects were excluded in the course of the discussion. They are not rejected. Putting in order or construction is postponed to a later period. Priority is given to transitional facilities, those that are in disrepair, as well as projects for which design estimates have been developed. Approximately 165 points of the program have been approved at the current stage. The list and amounts will be specified and finalized. Some objects require more detailed discussion. Relevant instructions were given by the President.
