The question that tax officials of Bendery are serving in conditions that do not meet elementary requirements has been raised for a long time. The Ministry of Finance has put it on the agenda of various discussion meetings and workshops, but failed to close it since 2008: tax officials continued to receive Bendery residents in minimally adapted offices based on the rooms of the former hostel. The country's leadership decided to purchase a building for the needs of the Bendery tax office after meeting of the staff of the Ministry of Finance with Vadim Krasnoselsky. The choice fell on a two-story building located in Moskovskaya Street. The building is historical – built in 1955 for district party committee of Bendery. The city hospital, the youth union of Moldavia, the youth center, the Department of Culture situated within these walls later in different periods. The architectural design contributed to the inclusion of the object in the Unified Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage Objects. That is, reconstruction made it possible not only to provide the Bendery tax authorities and inspection visitors with a decent service infrastructure, but also to preserve the architectural and historical object. Large-scale work began in 2020. A significant part of the funds was allocated through the Capital Investment Fund. They tried to preserve the exterior of the building by restoring the architectural elements of the facade. The interior, on the contrary, meets modern requirements. The usable area of the premises was increased during the reconstruction, the building was provided with autonomous heating, all engineering communications were replaced, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fire alarms and video surveillance systems were thought out. New furniture, the necessary equipment was purchased. The project has been implemented. Employees of the Bendery tax office have a housewarming party today. The PMR President took part in the solemn ceremony of putting the building into operation. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the importance of creating comfortable working conditions, congratulated the staff on their new home and wished them professional success in the new walls.
The participants of the festive event toured the transformed premises after the solemn ceremony of cutting the symbolic red ribbon. A familiarization tour was conducted for the guests by the Minister of Finance Alena Ruskevich. She spoke about the location of the inspection units. She drew attention to the fact that dining rooms are thought out on both floors. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the plans. The next ones are related to the introduction of the State Information System "Electronic Reporting".
Employees of the tax inspectorate for the city of Bendery will start working in the new building within the next ten days.
