Tiraspol, September 21 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Tiraspol rowing school trainee Vladislav Chebotar together with Kirill Shamshurin won the gold medal in their first joint performance at the World Championships in Denmark. Canoeists as the Russian national team part won the race at 1,000 meters distance with a 3 minutes and 32.83 seconds score.
Vladislav Cebotar commented Novosti Pridnestrovya news agency on the Russian-Pridnestrovian crew successful debut.
“Our crew was created spontaneously and under prevailing certain circumstances. Generally, I’m very satisfied with the result, I managed to work well together with Kirill already at the first training. We had a good mood as well as clear understanding that the boat is coming well. From the very beginning, we were setting a great pace and then trying to keep it. After the race we had a lot of good impressions,” Vladislav Chebotar noted.
This summer, Vladislav Cebotar debuted at the Tokyo Olympics. The rowing season was ended in a carriage with Kirill Shamshurin with a victory at the World Championships. It isn’t yet clear whether Pridnestrovians will continue training a joint crew as the Russian national team part.
“Currently, it isn’t exactly known, first of all, it’s necessary to be well prepared alone, but next year we will see,” Vladislav Chebotar describe.
