Tiraspol, April 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. This year it was decided to hold a Military Parade on the main square of Tiraspol on May 9 to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Soviet people`s Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
As reported on the head of state website, the responsible bodies were instructed to accelerate the preparatory work. The guests` seating plan in the stands will be distant: one after next chair.
Official flower-laying ceremonies at the Eternal Flame, monuments and graves of defenders will be organized in all localities. Officials and veterans will take part in it. To avoid large crowds, citizens will be advised not to visit sites of memory in large numbers, but privately.
In the context of the ongoing pandemic, the Immortal Regiment will be held remotely. At the agreed time, citizens will be able to stand at the windows with portraits of defenders of their Fatherland, as well as go out with it to the entrances of apartment buildings or the gates of private households.

As in the past year, mobile stages and creative groups will run through the settlements. Festive concerts are recommended to be held in open areas. Such locations as courtyards of houses where veterans live, as well as areas adjacent to COVID hospitals, are allocated separately.
The Victory salute will also take place in the capital. The state will not spend budget funds on it. Vadim Krasnoselsky said at the meeting that the festive fireworks were a gift from the Interdnestrcom company to Pridnestrovians.
Saturday voluntary work day in the republic will be held tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. There was a suggestion to cancel the pandemic restrictions on the electric transport schedule for these two days. The President supported the initiative. Trolleybuses will run from 6 am to 8 pm on April 23rd and 24th.
