4195 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment, according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus. 2076 of them are being treated at home, 2049 in quarantine hospitals. The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals is 97%. 70 cases are citizens who are in places of confinement (425 cases of infection were registered totally in the State Penitentiary Service, 355 prisoners recovered).

Due to the deteriorating health condition, 132 people were transferred from home to hospital treatment in the period from 18 to 21 March. According to statistics, there are 297 violently ill patients, or 14% of the total number of hospitalized, 56 are patients in intensive care units, 12 are connected to artificial lung ventilations.

4937 samples were examined during four days (168181 during the entire period of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 1529 cases. The average daily morbidity during this time increased and amounted to 382 cases. 37364 cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded totally in Pridnestrovie for more than a year's history of the spread of coronavirus. 799 carriers of the virus (2% of cases) died, 32370 people (87%) coped with the disease.
