Tiraspol, March 16. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A visiting meeting, dedicated to the local history museum establishment was held in the capital. We remind you: at the PMR President’s instruction, a Museum Center will be established in Tiraspol. It will become an unified complex with adjoining buildings and facilities, including the Tiraspol local history museum, the Zelinsky memorial museum as well as the Memorial of Glory and a number of other facilities.
“At the PMR President’s instruction, we are restarting working on the museum quarter construction. Earlier, over a half-year period, the State Service for Culture, together with museum workers had been developing a concept, which has already been developed, but not approved. Thus, there is a vision of what this complex will be like, however for this issue implementation, it’s necessary to prepare the constructional and household part of all this,” Oleg Dovgopol, the head of the Tiraspol public administration explained.
Representatives of the Economy Ministry as well as the State Service for Culture and museum workers, in cooperation with constructors and technical workers, should decide what work needs to be implemented, when to be started and what is technically possible and what is not. This is about the inspection of buildings and structures that this complex will include.
The information scope that will be presented in the museum is enormous. It will include the entire history of our region as well as geological and archaeological aspects. According to the facilitators plan, based on an exhibits variety, modern technologies and approaches, visitors will receive the full picture of what exactly Pridnestrovie is like.
