29841 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Pridnestrovie according to the information announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President. 552 patients are being treated in hospitals of the republic. 26 of them are in serious condition, five are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The workload of specialized hospitals is 32%. 48 people are waiting in stationary conditions for the results of the study of the biomaterial taken from them.
1252 bioassays were sent for research during the three days that have passed since the previous meeting of the Operational Headquarters. The suspicion of infection was confirmed in 226 cases. 9 people died, 205 recovered during the same time.
138216 studies of biomaterial samples were carried out during the pandemic totally. 652 people died (mortality rate 2%). 28163 (94% of the identified carriers of the coronavirus) recovered. 270 people are being treated at home. 16 carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment over the past three days, due to the deteriorating health condition. 747 patients were transferred from home to hospital treatment in total during the practice of treatment at home. 1491 residents of the republic are in controlled self-isolation.
The President was informed about the epidemiological situation in prisons. The State Penitentiary Service identified 215 infected, 7 of them recovered. Four more in connection with their release from places of imprisonment by an ambulance brigade were sent to the place of registration: two to the hospital, two were taken home. Additionally, 163 convicts were tested (selectively in various correctional institutions), all the results were negative.
The average daily incidence rate in the republic in the reporting period was 75 cases, a week earlier - 76.
