Bendery, January 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The further destiny of the Lira health improvement camp as well as the Flemmer’s summer house is being considered in the Bendery public administration.
The stone house of 1871 built is in critical condition and needs a renovation.
This year it’s planned to conduct a technical analysis of the buildings state, which are located on the camp’s territory. The expert evaluation is necessary for the purpose of understanding what kind of major overhaul is required, if that’s possible at all, the Deputy Head of Bendery, Lyudmila Shelenkova in an interview with the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel noted.
The dentist Flemmer’s summer house is known for the fact, that on May 4, 1919, a Communist’s party conference was held there. There the decision to start the Bendery armed rebellion against the Romanian occupants was made. In Soviet Union times, there was Lyra children’s camp.
