Preparation for epidemiologically safe election was discussed in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President

1 / 1

Members of the Operational Headquarters discussed preparations for holding of the Single Voting Day in Pridnestrovie. It was noted that 250 thousand protective masks and the same number of pairs of gloves were handed over to the CEC. They will be issued at the entrance to the polling stations to all participants in electoral procedures - members of commissions, observers, journalists and voters.

As for elections in the neighboring state: on November 1, Pridnestrovians who have Moldovan citizenship will be given the opportunity to leave for Moldova to participate in the voting. Considering that polling stations will work from 8:00 to 21:00, free travel for holders of Moldovan passport will be provided from 7 am to 8 pm. Return, respectively, - until 22:00. Those who do not meet the specified time period will have to fill out an epidemiological card and spend two weeks in controlled home isolation. Similar measures will be taken in relation to citizens who, upon their return, did not provide documentary evidence of participation in the vote, for example, a corresponding stamp in the Moldovan passport.

To ensure the safety of Pridnestrovians who decided to take part in the electoral procedures of a neighboring state, at the border they will be given sets of individual protective means – a mask and gloves, which the Pridnestrovian side will provide on behalf of the PMR President.
