COVID statistics

The President held a meeting of the Operational Headquarters on prevention of the spread of coronavirus. Number of citizens infected with the coronavirus has increased by 138 people in four days since the previous meeting. The Head of the Operational Headquarters Ruslan Mova informed the President about this during the meeting. According to him, there are 664 carriers of COVID-19 in the infectious diseases hospitals of the republic. The occupancy rate of second-tier coronavirus centers (hospitals for infected citizens) is 47%. 138 people are awaiting the results of testing in hospital conditions. During the same time, 6 carriers of the virus died. Totally, 75 people did not cope with the disease during the pandemic (mortality rate 2.7%). 112 Pridnestrovians were discharged from hospitals in four days. Totally, 1814 Pridnestrovians coped with COVID-19 (66% of the total number of infected, 2732 were registered). The highest incidence is observed in the age group from 50 to 59 years (597 cases, or 22%).
