The Operational Headquarters decisions

Effectiveness of preventive measures taken in Pridnestrovie was discussed in the course of the Operational Headquarters meeting to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. They paid special attention to testing. 16129 samples of the biomaterial of Pridnestrovians were laboratory-tested during the pandemic. Rapid testing is actively practiced, including for citizens entering the republic. It happens that people who have arrived from abroad refuse to conduct a medical procedure at the border. In several cases, having convinced of the feasibility, safety and effectiveness of testing, experts revealed the presence of coronavirus, then it was then confirmed by laboratory tests. There are facts when the urgent recommendations of border guards regarding the test were nevertheless ignored. In this regard, the Operational Headquarters members made the following decision: every arrived in the country citizen who refuses to be tested for COVID-19 while crossing the PMR border will be in strictly controlled home quarantine for three weeks (21 days).

The President emphasized that the country's leadership is doing everything possible to protect the population. Rapid tests with the help of local businesses are plentiful. In the near future, the arrival of another batch is expected. The procedure for citizens is free. The capital has a COVID laboratory. Negotiations are underway to purchase equipment for another laboratory in Rybnitsa. According to the PMR Health Ministry Christina Albul, the worldwide agiotage does not allow us to equip the laboratory immediately: delivery is agreed upon within the next month and a half. Members of the Operational Headquarters noted that equipment by the beginning of autumn is important - it is at this time that experts predict a new coronavirus wave.

They spoke at the meeting about the situation in the Kitskany Novo-Nyametsky monastery. There were identified 17 cases of infection with coronavirus. One monk diagnosed with COVID-19, having violated quarantine requirements, left the monastery and illegally crossed the border in the Moldovan direction. The relevant services of the neighboring state were informed of this fact.

Preventive work is carried out not only in relation to citizens who are in conditions of self-isolation (there are currently 2148 people), but also in the field of trade and services. Resumed business entities are under constant control. More than five thousand verification activities have been carried out over the past four days. 62 violations were identified. The activity of two pools, several catering organizations in Tiraspol and Bendery, as well as the agricultural market in Kamenka, has been suspended. At the same time, a phased controlled mitigation of quarantine restrictions continues. From 10 to 16 hours, residents of the republic - without age or other restrictions - can use the services of electric transport (subject to quarantine safety measures). Today the work of fitness centers was started. Regulation has been developed for the safe operation of bars, cafes and restaurants that receive visitors indoors. Three-meter distance between tables, limit on the number of visitors – 1 person per 5 square meters of space, and no more than 60 people should be indoors are among the requirements.

The issue of resuming the educational process in driving schools was discussed in the course of the meeting. It is proposed to combine distance learning with full-time study.
