Tiraspol, October 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On the second day of the Pridnestrovian International Economic Investment Forum, started yesterday conversation about high technologies and their impact on the life of the state continued. As the participants of the section “Investing in IT as a Factor of the Development of the Economy” noted, in order not to stay in the past, that days the most developed states invested tremendously in the development of IT. The most successful are those who “rode the wave”, as, for example, was the case with bitcoins.
As the General Director of the Israeli company Magic Square, Andrei Neyman noted, it was very important that the country had a certain environment in which it was already possible to invest.
“If the country has a developed technological infrastructure and a lot of start-ups, as for example, in Israel, then the state has to invest less resources, because all this is done by entrepreneurs., There is a business that can respond to the state's specific needs in Israel. If this is not in the country, then the state itself should become the initiator of this movement and develop this direction,” he says.
Moreover, according to the Director of the Pridnestrovian company ICT Andrei Babere, it is important to support local firms that create and develop the product not for outsourcing, but within the state.
“The state should be interested not only in attracting investments and creating an industrial park. My appeal is for the state to pay attention to such companies that have competencies and can create products within the state, thereby developing internal IT and helping people use these products,” he said.
Another important aspect is education. Of course, today it is increasingly going online, shrinking in time and splitting into courses. However, it is imperative that they begin to learn digital literacy from elementary school. As a child learns, the child integrates more and more into this environment (from the point of view of not entertainment, but of the useful one). As a result, the university receives a more studied applicant and a more specialist graduated from it.
“The instruments of interaction between primary, secondary and higher education, as well as business, should be constantly in communication. The whole problem is that there is no connecting line between everyone or that it is too long: when there is certain question, it simply loses its relevance until it reaches some institution,” the section moderator, Development Director of the Timilink Siberia company, Alesya Kadakina said.
“The business, the IT community should unite around this task, we ourselves have opened 3 courses this year, and by the end of the year more than 200 IT specialists will complete them. Now our association is also developing a strategy for the development of the IT industry. I want the state and business to join this process and give special attention to school education,” Ivan Gel, President of the Pridnestrovian IT Association, Director of Dex company added.
Meanwhile, Pridnestrovie intends to create its own technopark. The idea is to create within it a kind of ecosystem for a push in the development of the IT industry.
“These are coworking zones, and all kinds of training and educational sites. In addition, we plan to implement a project for the so-called IT Academy, which could solve the problem of rapid training. Plus, we plan to place residents of IT companies (both internal and external) that are located within the park, work with our capital, interact with the academy, which is able to recruit and prepare students for their tasks,” the Director of the Pridnestrovian Agency for Investment and Development, Andrey Betanov said.
It is planned that the technopark will become a kind of home (in a figurative sense, of course) for IT professionals. And the final part will be the creation of a center for digital solutions: a certain team that will deal with the solution and implementation of state tasks.
