Tiraspol, July 27. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tomorrow it will be the last day of the Water Sports World Cup in the South Korean city Gwangju.
The sportswoman of the Tiraspol Sports School of Swimming Tatyana Salkutsan (trainer Evgeny Karabetsky) successfully acted at her crown distance – 200 meters on back. In a preliminary heat, she showed 2:10.29 min result. It corresponds to the standard A on the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The sportswoman reached a championship semi-final and took a final 14th place.
Earlier all Moldavian swimmers were selected in the Olympic team according to the standard B which is several seconds lower.
Besides, Tatyana Salkutsan as a part of a relay team – Tatyana Kishka (breast), Alexey Sankov (freestyle) and Konstantin Malaki (butterfly) – became the co-author of a new record. In the mixed combined relay 4х100 m national team of Moldova showed 3:55.15 min result. It is the 22nd place among 45 teams.
