Tiraspol, June 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovian quintet «Liberti» will participate in the IV international festival «SUKHUM AQUAJAZZ 2019». As the head of the band, Dmitry Sheremet told in an interview to Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency, this visit will become the first in the history of the Pridnestrovian-Abkhazian relations not only for our jazzmen but also for all actors of the republic.
«Quite famous bands will participate in the festival. This year, for example, there will come Alexey Samarin Band, Arsen Mirabov Jazz Quartet, musicians from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Caucasus. It is a festival which does not provide a large number of participants at each of the bands, in fact, will perform their own solo concert. And all this will be separate high points», – Dmitry Sheremet told.
Liberty has an extensive program. A concert on the stage of the State Philharmonic Hall of the Republic of Abkhazia will be the first. But besides Sukhum actors will visit several Abkhazian cities. For winning the hearts of the Caucasian audience, the pridnestrovian jazzmen were trained thoroughly. Only one solo program will last for 1.5 hours.
«We have collected the best: jazz standards, Dixieland, blues, and of course, folklore elements. We want to acquaint the Abkhazian viewer with a cultural variety of the Pridnestrovian land. There will be a positive mood, there will be jokes – generally, we will do the best for the first arrival of the Pridnestrovian jazz band to Abkhazia remained unforgettable», – the head of the quintet «Liberti» has promised.
