Dubossary, May 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Not less than 20 million rubles will be directed from the Road Fund for the repair of sidewalks in the cities of the republic the next year, the Prime Minister Alexander Martynov reported it during today's meeting with representatives of housing and communal services of the Dubossary district.
The Prime Minister noted a positive example of Dubossary in the solution of a sidewalks question.
Local Road management serves about 240 km of highways. Today the enterprise needs modernization. The main problem is the outdated equipment. On its balance, there are 34 units of the road-building equipment and mechanisms from which 26 units (76%) are with more than 30 operation term.
Besides, for asphalt concrete laying works the enterprise needs the asphalt plant and the asphalt spreader. Now asphalt to the Dubossary district is delivered from Rybnitsa or Tiraspol that affects profitability and work terms, the press service of the Government reports.
