ECONOMIC COOPERATION WITH THE EU WAS DISCUSSED IN THE GOVERNMENT

Alexander Martynov held a meeting with the Head of the delegation of the EU to Moldova

Tiraspol, April 18. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Prime Minister Alexander Martynov met the Head of the delegation of the EU to Moldova Peter Mikhalko. The Head of the Government noted the importance of cooperation of Pridnestrovie and the European Union in various directions. In particular, it is about trade and economic interaction.

Alexander Martynov told that throughout a long time the republic works on the attraction of investments. The investment legislation was accepted for this purpose and the Investments Agency implemented about 26 international projects tries is created, the press service of the Government reports. Besides, in Pridnestrovie annually there take place economic forums and thematic meetings.

«We watch closely for the investment climate in Pridnestrovie to improved. And in this regard, we actively work with the Berlin Ekonomiks company. We try to do so that trade relations and conditions of business in Pridnestrovie met the international and European standards to make it comfortable and safe for European business to work at the territory of the Republic», - the Prime Minister told.

In turn, the Head of the delegation of the EU noted the importance of the conducted dialogue.

Interlocutors discussed also access of the Pridnestrovian companies to the European markets.

«We are ready to discuss also in details what it is possible to do to help and strengthen even more both access and scales which the Pridnestrovian companies could use» — told Peter Mikhalko.
