Tiraspol, April, 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Chisinau hosted Moldavia Table Tennis Youth Championship. According to the website of the PMR State Service for Sport, girls aged U-15 – 2004 and younger participated in the tournament.
The trainee of the Republican Table Tennis Sports School from Dubossary, master of sports Alexandra Kiryakova, managed to justify the status of these competitions favorite. She did not just beat all contestants in singles, but did it brilliantly, without losing a single game. In all matches, the judges established the score 3-0 in favor of the Pridnestrovian athlete. As a result, a gold medal and champion cup were won by her.
Alexandra Kiryakova won the second gold medal in the doubles with her team-mate Elizaveta Vakarchuk, who is also a trainee of the Dubossary Table Tennis Sports School. She had to work hard there and show her combativity.
If in the quarterfinals and semi-finals the contestants did not cause any problems, in the decisive match the struggle was hot and hard. Only in the decisive fifth set, girls from Dubossary pulled out the victory with a score of 3: 2 and took the first place.
Thus, the leading table tennis school in Pridnestrovie and Moldova won three gold medals and two champion cups.
Note that at this competition the team was led by the master of sports of international class Olga Bliznets.
