APRIL, 1. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The Pridnestrovian athletes brought from the international tournament on taekwondo WTF «Open CUP Stauceni 2019» 5 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals. Competitions took place on March 29-30 in Chisinau and though they are not among international rating, nevertheless steadily attract the high interest of athletes.
This time the tournament brought together more than 700 people from Serbia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova and Pridnestrovie. As it is specified on the website of Civil Service on Sport, the team of the Pridnestrovian WTF Taekwondo Union was one of the biggest – 55 athletes.
Participants competed in four age groups: children, cadets, juniors and adults.
The result of the competitions is 31 medals of different advantage. It allowed the Pridnestrovians to take the third all-command place.
The mentors prepared athletes for the competition are Yury Lesovoy, Natalia Balyuk, Vyacheslav Balan and Oleg Beloborodov.
