Dubossary, March, 21. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The shooting of the feature film Bird's Milk has started in one of the most scenic points of Pridnestrovie - the village of Rogi, Dubossary district. They will also be shooting on the territory of the Grigoriopol, Slobodzeya, Rybnitsa and Kamenka districts.
The feature motion picture of a young filmmaker from Tiraspol, Evgeny Marian, is being shot by the Russian movie studio. Specialists from Ukraine, Crimea and Kyrgyzstan took part in the preparation of the scenery. It took the decorator team a month and a half to create new objects in the village of Rogi.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the local residents of the village of Rogi and the head of the village administration, who helped us build the scenery and create requisites. In addition to building a house, it was necessary to fill it with life. This was done by the teams of our prop masters who travel around Pridnestrovie, communicate with people and collect interesting traditional household items,” production manager Alexei Sakhankov said.
The scriptwriter is Evgeny Marian - a first-time director. The film`s title Bird's Milk is as yet working, it may be changed. This is his debut full-length film, which has actors from Pridnestrovie, Moldova, Romania and Russia. Ordinary citizens of the republic are also involved. Last year, there were castings being held in Pridnestrovian cities and districts.
The young screenwriter hopes that the audience will be interested to learn his work. The movie will present the story of a teenager from Pridnestrovie, who had to go through a lot and move beyond.
“In the plot there are events that happened in my life. I wanted to share my real feelings. Today, during the shooting, the sun was suddenly shining and I had the urge to change something in the script, I mean key things. I try to help the actors mediate experiences, bring them in the shot, well, you'll see what we've got,” Evgeny Marian said.
Filming on the territory of Pridnestrovie is scheduled until May 2. The movie premiere is to take place at one of the film festivals this year.
