Tiraspol, January, 12. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky held the extraordinary conference call with heads of the state administrations devoted to consequences of snowfall and fall of air temperature.
Heads of the cities and districts of the Republic informed on efficiency and quality of snow cleaning, work of municipal services and functioning of points of heating and temporary accommodation of people. In all areas the situation is under control, the Press Service of the Head of the state reports.
Snowfall was expected, participants of the meeting noted. Profile services were beforehand notified and preliminary work is carried out. There is no lack of equipment. Besides snowploughs and technical means for the scattering of the sand-hydrochloric mix which are under the authority of road and housing-and-municipal services, the equipment of the enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership as necessary is involved in the fight against consequences of snowfall.
For the occurred day of road accident have generally technical character. There are no citizens who were seriously injured in the road accidents. On the Republic, the situation with a number of appeals to emergency stations is noncritical in general.
Cases of suspension of the movement of motor transportation streams and also accidents electro-and heating systems are single. Problems were solved immediately.
In the territory of Pridnestrovie 40 points of heating and temporary accommodation of the citizens who appeared in a difficult life situation function. It is both about stationary, and about mobile objects. In Grigoriopolsky district, for example, such points are organized in each settlement. Per day there were very few addresses.
In this regard, Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to the need of informing the population on the existence of socially important relief centres. Even if citizens without a certain residence do not learn about these points, there is a chance that conscious and sympathetic inhabitants will be able to direct or even to accompany there persons in need.
The President charged to notify all services on the location of points of heating employees in case of need brought the freezing citizens in the closest of them. The Head of the state emphasized that the tragedies connected with frostbite of people are inadmissible. If it occurs, on each fact the most serious inspection will be carried out and guilty persons will be punished.
In general, the President recognized work on mitigation of consequences of plentiful snowfall as satisfactory. Despite the predicted warming, Vadim Krasnoselsky urged heads of public administrations to keep a situation under control.
