Tiraspol, January, 9. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Possibilities of the organization of dual education were discussed in the Ministry for Agriculture and Natural Resources. There was a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Public Education, two educational institutions preparing stuff for agrarian and industrial complex and also heads of agricultural firms.
The Head of the Department of Professional Education of the Ministry of Public Education Lyudmila Tanurkova reminded that dual education is working in the republic for a year and helps to prepare staff for the real production sector. Projects successfully proved themselves in the light industry, metallurgy, electrotechnical production. Now they are suggested to be expanded also on the sphere of agricultural industry.
Both educational institutions and landowners support it. But there is complexity – the acquisition of the equipment for technical school and college. First of all, it concerns machine operators.
«The complexity of preparation in the speciality «Mechanization and operation of the machine and tractor park» is that they have to receive even the first skills, working on the modern equipment. The machine operator is the most demanded and most labour-consuming speciality», – the director of the Tiraspol Agrarian and Technical College Alla Gurova noted.
It is necessary to prepare experts to work on modern tractors, sowing units and combines. The price of the minimum set of the equipment is about 1 million dollars.
«There are two sources of financing: one of them – the budget, another – funds. The enterprises had offers to create a separate fund for filling it due to assignments from a unit of cultivated area, conditionally 1 MWL from 1 hectare. It would help to collect a certain sum and to buy the most necessary equipment for educational institutions. Perhaps, it will turn out to use some grant projects, the final mechanism is not approved yet», – the Acting Minister for Agriculture and Natural Resources Oleg Diligul explained.
Besides the financial question, other aspects were discovered as well. Future machine operators were suggested to be exempted from military service. Also, it is necessary to hire students and pay the salary during the practice. And the time of the work practice has to coincide with rhythms of field works. One more offer – to count the number of the budgetary places proceeding from real requirements of the industry.
«Let us assume: if in our agricultural industry machine operators are 30% of a total number of people, it means that in education there have to be 30% of machine operators. Agronomists are 5%, so in the education, it has to be as much of them», – the director of the Tiraspol Plant of Bakery Products Alexander Rosenberg considers.
All participants of the meeting received standard projects of contracts on dual education, till February 1 they will get acquainted with them and will present the offers to the Ministry of Agriculture.
