Tiraspol, December, 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev, the Plenipotentiary of the Republic Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman and the Head of the Official Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR Vitaly Yankovsky.
As the Press Service of the MFA reports, within the meeting a substantive exchange of views on a wide range of the questions connected with the current state of cooperation of Pridnestrovie with Abkhazia and South Ossetia took place.
Interlocutors summed up the interaction results in 2018, having highly appreciated dynamics of dialogue at various levels and also an openness to the development of versatile contacts.
Throughout a discussion diplomats discussed the perspective areas of work next year, haveing agreed that on today's day exists the considerable potential for strengthening of interaction between sister republics in many areas. In this context within the meeting, the particular emphasis was placed on the prospects of development of interdepartmental contacts and implementation of joint projects in the social and humanitarian sphere.
During communication, Vitaly Ignatiev also informed interlocutors that in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR the exhibition of works of participants of the International competition of drawings «Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Pridnestrovie: the friendship fastened with time» is placed.
Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized that the competition became the significant action which served to development of welfare contacts between three countries. In this context, the diplomat noted that the Foreign Ministry with enthusiasm apprehended an initiative about the placement of works in the MFA of the PMR.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for the continuation of working communication on all range of questions, being of mutual interest.
