Alexander Kiryakova wins gold at World Games of Young Compatriots

The 13-year-old tennis player defeated in the women's singles rivals from Abkhazia and Russia

Tiraspol, 21 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The 4th World Games of Young Compatriots, which were held under the patronage of "United Russia", finished on Saturday, 19 May, in Kazan.

The trainee of the Dubossary Republican Table Tennis School Alexandra Kiryakova won the table tennis competition.

Earlier, the 13-year-old Kiryakova took third place in the doubles together with Viktor Tsurkan.

Alexandra beat all her rivals in the singles to win gold. Among the prize winners were tennis players from Russia and Abkhazia, the State Service for Sports reports on its website.
