Tiraspol, 10 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A dual education project for the training of the workforce continues to develop. Today, a tripartite agreement was signed between the government, Bendery Trade and Technology College and the companies Intercenter Lux, Softshoes and Vestra. The first agreement, it should be recalled, was endorsed at the end of 2017 by the heads of the clothing factory "Odema" and the capital's business and service college. According to the results of the first recruitment, 13 people have already been employed, and more than 20 have been enrolled in the second group of recruitment.
Dual training is also called practice-oriented. Only 30% of the entire study period accounts for theory, and the remaining 70% of time should be used by students to acquire practical skills directly at an enterprise where they are going to work.
"In fact, dual education is not Pridnestrovie's invention; it is the experience used in the countries of Western Europe and Russia. In March, we were visited by representatives of the Agency of Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Federation, who showed the effectiveness and prospects of this system of training of labour force for the real sector of the economy," said Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Tsurkan.
Dual education implies a shorter period of training - only a few months rather than years. This system allows the enterprise to be more involved in the process of training. Unlike ordinary courses at an enterprise, the apprentice receives a certificate of the state standard and guaranteed employment. In addition, due to the fact that training is undergone on the factory floor, adaptation period after employment is significantly reduced. The future employee is familiar with the specifics of the production of a particular company, and his leadership, accordingly, with him.
"We have the opportunity to train more qualified personnel required by light industry. [...] Now the new computerised equipment is supplied, in particular, our enterprise has purchased up-to-date equipment. And, of course, it requires skilful hands and such specialists who can master this profession," said the CEO of LLC Softshuz Yuriy Cheban.
"Our relationships are time-tested, and many ideas have already come to life. The signing of this agreement, I think, will mark another round of our relations. Students will come directly to your enterprise, get acquainted with your equipment and then come to work for you. I hope that this, in fact, will attract students to us, and labour force to you," added the director of Bendery Trade and Technology College Olga Shatokhina.
The Ministry of Public Education emphasises that Tiraspol and Bendery colleges are not the only institutions that will work in this system.
"It is the first enrollment for the Bendery college, and Dubossary Polytechnic College also wants to join the system. We think that this year our secondary schools -there are 16 of them in the country - will take into account the experience of their colleagues and will also adopt this education system. Thus, we will receive graduates who as much as possible meet the demands of the market," noted the minister of public education Tatyana Loginova.
