Tiraspol, 30 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The economic development minister, Sergey Obolonik, presented a programme — roadmap — ensuring support for the access of Pridnestrovian manufactures to foreign markets.
According to Obolonik, those measures were worked out by manufacturers themselves together with the business community and the Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
The prime minister, Alexander Martynov, recalled that this plan had been carried out for nearly six months. «This document was presented at the Pridnestrovian International Economic Forum, where remarks and proposals were made on this project. It was finalised together with the business community," noted the prime minister.
The document includes «non-financial» measures, which means its implementation does not require budget funds. The roadmap consists of five sections: the reduction and simplification of export procedures; improving the competitiveness of exported goods; development of export support infrastructure; stimulation of exports of Pridnestrovian products; identification of external restrictive measures for the export of Pridnestrovian goods.
«Export support is planned in several ways. These are the removal of administrative barriers, assistance in export promotion, optimisation of existing customs regulations and laws, which would ensure the most preferential regimes. That is, the lowest administrative and fiscal burden on our exporters. This is also the implementation of direct measures that allow export activities to be carried out in the face of the current restrictions imposed by our neighbours and special decisions made by the European Union and Moldova, as well as the need to develop a strategic export direction — the Russian Federation," said the minister.
