Government approves regulation on interdepartmental cooperation

This is one of the steps towards the establishment of an electronic government in Pridnestrovie

Tiraspol, 10 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The system of interdepartamental cooperation, which will accelerate the introduction of electronic services and the electronic exchange of data between the information systems of state agencies and ministries, is to be launched in Pridnestrovie. The proposal to approve a regulation on the project was put forward by the Agency for Mass Media at a government meeting.

The main objective is to improve the management of governmental bodies by speeding up the transfer of data needed to provide services, state and municipal functions between the central and local governments, as well as the establishment of state information systems based on the «one window» principle.

«The use of an interdepartamental data exchange system will enable the state authorities, local government bodies, as well as organisations involved in the provision of services, to carry out tasks aimed at facilitating the procedures for the acquisition of public services by legal entities and natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs," noted the head of the State Agency for Communications, Roman Kurash.

Russia successfully implemented such a system several years ago.

As the head of the government, Alexander Martynov, noted, the main objective of the entire reform package in the communications industry should be the establishment of an electronic government and a public service portal.

«The aim is to facilitate the interaction of citizens and legal entities with the state and to reduce the number of officials. Work should be speeded up in this area. The government is interested in a specific plan of action," Martynov told Roman Kurash.

Government members approved the initiative.

As Novosti Pridnestrovya has already reported, today the State Agency for Communications held a presentation of a demo version of the Single Register of Public Services, with which representatives of ministries and state administrations was able to get familiar.

The main objective of the single registry is to provide quick and easy access to information. In order for it to be successful, electronic workflow between agencies will first be ensured.
