Tiraspol, 1 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A draft roadmap for e-commerce development was presented at a meeting of the e-commerce council that was held yesterday in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main purpose of this document is the establishment of favourable conditions in Pridnestrovie for online trading, which has already become indispensable in modern society, the chamber's press service reports.
The draft had been worked out by members of the e-commerce council. After being amended and supplemented by the Ministry of Economic Development, the draft was presented in its final version.
The areas outlined in the draft will further form the basis for the elaboration of a roadmap for e-commerce development in our republic. The council will begin working out the roadmap as early as late March, and as for now it was decided to submit proposals on the structure of the document.
At the next meeting, council members are going to approve an action plan for the roadmap and form working groups for each area.
In addition, the meeting approved new council members — representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Mass Media Agency.
