Tiraspol, 21 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Chisinau Open Swimming Championship was held in the capital of Moldova on the 18th and 19th of March. In these competitions, the Tiraspol athletes won 31 medals, 13 of which were gold ones.
As the Press Service of the Sports State Service reports, Vlas Kononov and Aleksandra Dayneko rose to the top tier four times. Regina Gumenko won three gold medals. Varvara Travnikova and Egor Bogaty also won gold.
Next week, the athletes of the Tiraspol school will take part in the Open Swimming Championship devoted to the 72nd anniversary of Rybnitsa Liberation from Fascist Aggressors and to the 71st anniversary of the Victory Day.
