Tiraspol, 6 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Russian economist, the publicist, the former official of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Mikhail Hazin told about the events in the world and about the Pridnestrovie's realities to the journalists of the Pridnestrovian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
According to the expert, there's a split between the elites in the global political stage.
"Its first part, which can be called as world financial elite, of course, advocates for preservation of the world financial infrastructure and, accordingly, it tries to win back control over the dollar emission. On the contrary, another part considers that financial infrastructure can be sacrificed for the sake of the US economic system preservation. The trouble is that crisis is so severe that the victory of one of these forces inevitably destroys the foundation of another one," Mikhail Hazin told.
He noted that we would see which of these two plans would be the main one in November, 2016 after the election of the US president.
"I think that those who want to rescue the American economy at the expense of the world financial system will win. I think, there will be a regionalization of economy at the same time, and the regional centres of force will be formed," the expert explained.
Also, an issue concerning the support provided by Russia to Pridnestrovie was raised during the conversation.
"Russia has no long-term money because the economic model of Russia has been orientated to the foreign investments. This model doesn't work any more. Today, the question is that when the model will shift to the domestic resources, that is ruble investments. It is still a question but as soon as it happens, long-term money will appear in Pridnestrovie also," Mikhail Hazin emphasized.
"It's important to understand that there are two forces in Russia: one of them is focused on the national interests, another one — on the interests of the West. And, generally speaking, we cannot say that the part which is focused on the national interests is stronger today. However, all changes do well. The pendulum was at the side of the West between 1985 and 2008, but now it has turned to our side," Mikhail Hazin told.
Speaking about the economic recession in Pridnestrovie, the expert noted that it is connected with external factors, and that it is necessary to settle the situation in our republic.
"In such a case, it isn't necessary to devaluate ruble. Your export-import isn't so big enough to do it," Mikhail Hazin stated.
