On July 21, 2015 this year’s first meeting of the expert (working) groups on regulatory and document support of citizens from the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Moldova.
During the meeting, experts discussed a wide range of problematic aspects which hinder the practical interaction between the parties at the interdepartmental level. In this context, the parties agreed on the need to establish sustainable mechanism providing the exchange of mutual requests which require the personal data processing according to the Pridnestrovie's and Moldova's legislations.
At the same time, the representatives of the relevant groups touched upon some problematic issues concerning the implementation and the introduction of amendments to the vital records. In order to resolve these issues, a separate meeting between relevant experts will be held by the sides' mutual agreement.
In addition, according to the agenda of the meeting the sides also discussed issues concerning the imposing of the duplicate Moldovan judicial authorities' judgments previously made by the Pridnestrovie's courts. They also discussed the issue concerning the mutual recognition of guardianship and custody documents.
At the end of a meeting, the heads of groups expressed readiness for holding the next meeting in the third decade of September, 2015, the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
