They continued negotiating the document regulating the cooperation between the OSCE Mission and Pridnestrovie at the meeting
The offer concerning the revision of the existing agreement was submitted by Pridnestrovie in 2011, the Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports. The Pridnestrovie's President has stood for the necessity of the meaningful consultation concerning the agreement update since the meeting with the management of the OSCE Mission to Moldova in March, 2013. He has also directed the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry to continue and to intensify the efforts in working out the new agreement for the OSCE Mission in Pridnestrovie. The parties started the negotiations on this issue in 2014.
The Foreign Affairs Minister Nina Shtanski noted that there had been a number of intense and efficient discussions concerning the elaboration of the document between the representatives of Pridnestrovie and OSCE the previous year. The diplomat stated serious achievements in working out the updated edition of the agreement and in rapprochement between the parties despite the different interpretation and the questions requiring the further discussion.
In turn, the Conflict Prevention Center's director, the deputy head of the OSCE Secretariat Adam Kobyeratski agreed with the positive assessment of the current draft agreement negotiations and hoped for a fast and successful accomplishment of the carried-out work.
The parties exchanged their ideas on a number of terminological aspects of the draft during the discussion, the parties also managed to advance considerably. They agreed to continue the work soon.
