The Prime Minister and the members of the Government discussed the draft during the meeting today
“The necessity of such anti-crisis program development is caused by different reasons. There are a difficult economic situation of Pridnestrovie under the foreign pressure and the Pridnestrovie’s banking system blockade among them. The measures offered by the executive authority are designed to provide the social safeguard to the citizens, to sustain the industry, i.e. the export enterprises, and also the medium and small business,” the Prime Minister Tatyana Turanskaya noted during the interview.
As the President’s Press Office reports, the special attention was paid to the effective use of the farmlands during the meeting. In particular, the President ordered the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to develop the legal act providing new, contemporary approaches concerning the use of such lands.
It was also discussed that the input method will be used in Pridnestrovie for the budget construction estimates. It was noted at meeting that it was important to revise the engineering standards of Pridnestrovie with the prices of 1984 (the basic index method) and that would allow to minimize the construction costs and to harmonize the types of works. The President pointed out the mistakes of the Housing and Public Utilities State Service and the design offices on that front. Also, Evgeny Shevchuk set the task to develop the program for the new standards introduction until the end of the current week.
Besides, they talked during the meeting about the preparations for the 70-th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory and for the 25-th anniversary of the Pridnestrovie’s Independence Day. It’s expected to complete a number of improvements throughout the Pridnestrovie’s cities and regions by these anniversaries. In particular, it was also discussed that it would be possible to install the new illuminants in the central streets of Tiraspol, Bendery and Rybnitsa.
“Today, we have the old-fashioned devices of the Soviet Union period wasting 400 watts an hour. We offer to install the energy saving equipment which will consume approximately 100 watts an hour. So, the quality of the traffic area and sidewalks illumination will be improved, to the expenditure on the electricity used for the street lighting will put down,” the head of the Housing and Public Utilities State Service noted.
Vasily Vlasov also reminded that the street lighting have functioned in the restraint mode in the republic since September, 2014 in order to harmonize the charges. Following the results of the last year, the street lighting payment averaged 64% over the republic. According to the experts’ estimates, the electric power payments due to the new illuminants will be four times lower.
The attendees of the working meeting also discussed a number of questions concerning the healthcare system functioning.
