Rybnitsa region, November, 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Previous day in Stroentsy there was consecrated a new temple, which is located in a beautiful place - on the island. Parishioners are led to the temple by the bridge.
A new church has appeared in Rybnitsa district not long ago. They built it on donations, in the image of the temple from holy land of Athos. The temple is unique in that it is completely man-made, that is, it was built manually all the way. It is not possible to use the technique on the island.
The church was named after the Icon of the Mother of God “Quick to Hearken”, as the First Pridnestrovian channel reports.
“We went to Athos, visited the icon of Maria “Quick to Hearken”. After some time, our daughter was born. It turned out that everything came down to the fact that the church should be named “Quick to Hearken” - philanthropist Vyacheslav Polishchuk said.
From Athos to Stroentsy they brought a copy of the Mother of God “Quick to Hearken” icon. A miraculous image is called so, because it fulfills all petitions shortly.
The new temple vaults are decorated with paintings. From the walls there are holy fathers and angels looking at the believers. The first service had already been held in the church. It was headed by the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva.
“I would like to wish that people, hearing the voice of the bell, the voice of the church, come to this call” – member of higher orders of clergy Savva said.
The temple was consecrated. Now, every Sunday and also during holidays, there will be ringing bells, carrying the good news for hundreds of meters heard from the church on the water.
