Tiraspol, 14 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. SunStroke Project band from Tiraspol became the third in the Eurovision on May 13 in Kiev, Ukraine. Singer from Portugal Salvador Sobral won the contest, representative of Bulgaria Christian Kostov became the second.
In total, 26 European representative countries and also other states took part in the song show.
Performing with the number 7 SunStroke Project sang a rousing song Hey Mamma coming with equally bright show.
As the saxophonist of the SunStroke Project Sergey Stepanov told in the interview to our reporter that emotions overflow! «It is a huge victory! We feel that we will return home as heroes!» the musician noted and told that a representative from Moldova hadn't ever taken such a high place over all history of Eurovision.
The SunStroke Project band represents symbiosis of a violin, a saxophone, live vocal and modern house music. The band has several official remakes of world hits and their own singles holding the leading positions in the European charts.
